Wheel of Fortune -- It is infuriating when three spins in a row produce
"bankrupt." Maybe there are too many on the wheel. It is hard to figure
out the "rules" when they aren't the same each night, it seems. It is also
infuriating when a greedy contestant ought to be able to "solve" the
puzzle but chooses to spin one last time and then forfeits his hard work
to someone else. Furthermore, it seems that when the trips are less
glamorous, there is a better chance of winning a car or more than $40,000.
We are frustrated by how little opportunity there is for us to view and study
the board. I do think Ryan Seacrest is very amiable and doing a great job,
as is Ken Jennings, for the most part.
We've only recently begun watching WOF, because the news is just too
disturbing. ANYTHING mindless is preferred. On Jeopardy, we skip the
interviews and only do the questions [answers]. Sometimes it seems that
Ken Jennings is not even-handed in his acceptance of a response.
