"Nightflight" June 21, 9P-12M ET: The VINCENT SISTERS [[Joyce & Pam)..Part TWO!

Hey, Folks! Yes...tonight, on "Nightflight", PART TWO of a tribute to Pam and Joyce Vincent...the Vincent Sisters! Last week was such a tremendous thrill to have the ladies live on the show for most of 3 hours, chatting with us about their lives and amazing careers. The only problem was that we talked so much, we didn't have the opportunity to hear much of the music they recorded.
Well....tonight, I will rectify that. You'll hear much more of their music from the sixties...with Joyce in the Debonaires and into the seventies with Pam's and Joyce's music that was produced by Holland Dozier Holland all the way up to the present, with their wonderful CD "Quiet Moon" as members of Tour De 4Force.

There will be cameo appearances [[on recording) by Jerry Plunk and Flaming Ember [[Invictus/Hot Wax), Telma Hopkins [[Invictus/Hot Wax,Dawn featuring Tony Orlando, Jerry Plunks' recent unreleased cd "Unfinished Business"), Dionne Warwick, Freda Payne, Chairmen of the Board, and Scherrie Payne, Theresa Davis and Jim Gilstrap, their co-members of Tour De 4Force.

AND.....2 very BIG surprises...I can't tell you what they are, but Pam and Joyce, who will be listening to the show, are not aware!

The mind runs wild! Could it be . . . well, we'll just have to wait and see [[I hope it's the return of the Vincent Sisters!). If this week's show is 1/8th as good as last week's love fest, it'll be fantastic! Speaking of an 1/8th, got a few errands to run before the show. See you on the radio!

I've known Joyce since April 10, 1976. My dad worked for Tony Orlando and Dawn, who were in town playing the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh. I would soon join my dad and by 1985, was doing the mixing for some TOAD shows. Anytime I could, I would que-up the lady's and the band and listen to how spot-on their vocals were. This wasn't Auto-Tune this was Perfect-Tuning. Unfortunately, I was only able to get to a handful of shows with Pam in the 90's, but can tell you that she is certainly able to hold her own in any situation. These ladies can sing!!!

I am now able to look back on a respectable career as an audio engineer who's worked with everyone from Andy Williams to U2 and has all the tools and toys you'd ever need but I could never come close to making what these ladies can just do. A special thanx to your show for highlighting 2 very talented, and as we now see "legendary" singers in their own right.
