Heartfelt thanks guys for all the hard work, dedication & love you put in. You certainly proved there are some astonishingly good performances on Motorcity. You probably know that Ian’s been retroconning & releasing the tracks with less electro-sounding instrumentation. I have to say I never understood the decision to relegate Motorcity to a sub-forum. Every single one of these releases are by 100% Motown artists – where else would you look but Motown Forum? Never mind, I’m sure this is not the last we’ll hear of this unique treasure trove of our beloved Motown artists.

Heartfelt thanks guys for all the hard work, dedication & love you put in. You certainly proved there are some astonishingly good performances on Motorcity. You probably know that Ian’s been retroconning & releasing the tracks with less electro-sounding instrumentation. I have to say I never understood the decision to relegate Motorcity to a sub-forum. Every single one of these releases are by 100% Motown artists – where else would you look but Motown Forum? Never mind, I’m sure this is not the last we’ll hear of this unique treasure trove of our beloved Motown artists.

Thanks for reviving this chapter of my Motorcity salute, Tony. I remember how much I enjoyed creating this segment in particular. Discovering, after all these years, that Ian had produced a 2-CD set on Brenda Holloway was a real thrill for me! In fact, some of Brenda's tracks are among my very favorites of all the Motorcity recordings. I agree -- banishing Ian's Motorcity productions from the Motown Forum broke my heart at the time, but I've since moved on. I'm just grateful that fans like yourself have been revisiting my Motorcity threads, thus keeping them alive for all to see.
