I am not too familiar with Skyy. I have heard a few tracks on various compilations but i have never taken the time and trouble to properly investigate them.
Can any Skyy fans out there advise me on any particular songs to listen to? Are you a fan Eddie?

Hi Bluebrock. I'm not a fan of Skyy but I do know two of their songs; "Call Me" & "Let's Celebrate" and they both typical of early '80s Funk/Dance Music. Anyways, check them out here and see what you think of them.

I came across "Call me" on a compilation album in the early 80s and didn't really get them. Randy Muller was also producing Brass Construction and Funk Deluxe as a pseudonym, didn't really like them either. Heard some other Skyy stuff and it started to click. I never bought the Salsoul Lps so this is a no brainer for me. Gonna be greedy and wish they'd done a fifth disc with more remixes as there are shed loads to pick from.
My PC won't let me insert media so I can't drop in youtube tracks. My personal favourites are "Show me the way", "First time around" and "Here's to you".
