I wish I can hear the monitors version. But the david ruffin version is just as good to me. I wish can find the monitors version so I can hear for myself.

It's the melody and background singers I love on David's version....the chorus [[which makes the song) seems to be missing on the Monitors cut.....
It seems that Terry Johnson produced David's....and NOT Smokey....UUMM??
