I thought this was going to be an official release of the Funk Brothers’ instrumental backing tracks!! But I think’s it’s just a digital release of this collection: https://acerecords.co.uk/all-turned-...tals-1960-1972, which is still cool.

I Got "All Turned On" [Which Is a great CD] they also issued another CD in 2004 the "Millennium Collection 12 Motown Instrumentals" , as well as the TV DVD show Standing In The Shadows of Motown in 2002 [all Inst's]. Shame they are not using all of the Funk Brothers Tracks.

Years ago, the unofficial Marginal Label issued a Motown Instrumentals CD that combined "That Motown Sound" plus Choker Campbell's "Hits of The Sixties" plus bonus tracks.

Also there has long been available another unofficial CD called "In The Snakepit" containing Motown instrumentals.

There were CD issues of "That Motown Sound" and "The Earl of Funk" as part of the Motown 60 celebrations - these were Japanese issue.

You can see pictures of these CDs here [[click each photo to see a track list) . . . https://www.flickr.com/photos/cookep...77720305790369
