It's a great collection for anyone who does not already own the original albums.
Several more are planned for 2023.

All i can say at this moment is that there is a wonderful boxset of another iconic female singer coming fairly soon. A lady who has entertained us since the early 70's, and there are others in the works too. You will not be disappointed. Record Companies are slowly beginning to licence their product again after a very fallow period.

The album cover makes it look like a box set of albums rather than a highlights set.

I'd love for SoulMusic Records to gather Sharon Redd's Prelude recordings together in a box set. I'd also like to have Loleatta Holloway's Gold Mind/Salsoul recordings gathered together in a less compressed mastering, and with some 7" remixes that haven't been gathered together on CD from mastertape. Lulu's "Independence" set is coming up on its 30 year anniversary in 2023. It would be the perfect time to gather her Dome/EMI recordings in full, especially as there are some vinyl only mixes that have never made it to digital.

My wish list, and it is rather eclectic, would be to see, in no particular order of preference......a Denise LaSalle box set, one by Millie Jackson would be nice, a comprehensive Laura Branigan set is lonnngggg overdue, and since we got the vaulted collection from Hodges, James & Smith, I would like to see their four released albums re-issued on CD. I am sure I could think of others if I worked on it, but those are at the top of my list.

Does this collection omit "Look Who's Lonely Now"?! Randy's albums are so deep with gems I guess it's impossible to issue a collection to everyone's taste.
