Quite an interesting list. I only know a few of these artists. Turner and King of course, James Carr, Dave Hamilton.

This kind of announcement always makes me wonder why there isn't more of a market for more Motown.

I'm also wondering, is this one collection of single tracks, or are these albums which are scheduled? I can't tell from the blurb. Obviously titles like "Gimme Some Mod Jazz" must be an album. So are all of these individual releases, albeit digital only?

Since there’s nothing physically involved , What are the expenses in releasing digital music beyond Paying the lawyers and bookkeepers….
what are the limitations ? Can they issue ‘copies’ ad nauseam to suit demand whatever the number ?

Going over the article, it looks Ace/Kent are spreading out these individual titles over the next couple of months [beginning with the currently available Selections From For Dancers Forty and winding up with More Masterpieces Of Modern Soul on March 31st].
