Hey my temptaholics, i got one to make you dig deep, the question of the month is this....what is the biggest misconception about the temptations? I'm gonna give you all one month to figure it out..temptations forever!!

Taking a crack at this; is it that except for Paul Williams, none of the original members of the group were natural dancers [and they had to learn to do those dance steps they did from Williams, choreographer Cholly Atkins & others] ?

That when as a five part group they auditioned for Berry Gordy they were called The Elgins not The Temptations. Berry changed their name to The Temptations to avoid confusion with a different Elgins group. Arr&bee?

Doggone mikew, that's it, some folks think that they were the temptations from the beginning[1960]but they became the temps in[1961]mikew you da man!!
