How'd that remix of Trapped in A Love Affair/Love Is like An Itchin In My Heart work out? lol

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH......THAT's what you meant! I thought you just wanted to hear both of them. You want them mixed together. Well, Ross....let me tell you...mixing 2 songs together that don't have the same clarity doesn't work well. If you think of the sound in "....Itching....", it's remarkably clear and bright....mono and stereo versions. On the version of "Trapped...." sound much more remote....Brenda is not mixed in clearly as the lead...in the beginning of the song you can barely hear her. So until someone at UMG decides to remix some of those songs that could truly use it [["Trapped....", "Some Things You never get Used To", "Crying Time"...and many others), I think I should hold off. But I think you're right...they could work well together. Thanks, Ross!

Pam, Joyce and Telma sing back up on Margie's first Stax album [[producer Don Davis). On the chorus, Pam, Joyce and Telma take turns singing "Stop It!" I believe their backups were recorded in Detroit, separate from Margie's Memphis-sung leads.

Pam and Joyce worked with Don Davis a lot. Marilyn and Billy's "You Don't Have To Be A Star" [[you probably knew that one). I'll talk to John Caratelli and get back to you. He is friends with Pam and Joyce and sometimes remembers more backgrounds that they did than they do.
