Dazz Band's Joystick- your thoughts?

This Motown hit that I find underrated was fun for anyone who liked going to the arcade in the 80s.


It would make a great tune in retro arcades targeted to those who don't want prize or redemption games in their arcade.

It's a fun novelty tune. What's your thoughts?

I think this a cool and fun song, although I prefer "Swoop [I'm Yours]" from the Joystick album. But generally I like the Dazz Band’s electro-funk-party sound… always fun

"Joystick" is also one of the songs played on Grand Theft Auto 5’s in-game radio station Space 102.8 [which is ‘hosted’ by none other than Bootsy Collins!!!].

Indeed Joystick was a great track as was Swoop. Their crowning glory was Let It Whip which I think remains one of the funkiest tracks of the 1980s. For some reason they could never get another hit record.
