    The UK was awash with this type of album - cover versions of current hit records of the day - and at a bargain price - much cheaper than buying the hit singles. Many famous musicians have cut their teeth as studio musicians on this type of record, such as John Carter and Elton John. They were very popular in stores like Woolworths and in supermarkets.

    They often got the information wrong as with "These Things". The vocalist is Barbara Kay who was lead singer of The Piglets e.g. "Johnny Reggae". They couldn't even get the name of the producer right as it's the famous Mike Morton [[Mike Morton's Congregation).
