I didn't see it when it was first broadcast

But I will never forget the next day at school when all the kids were talking about it

The teachers were talking about it

I can't say for sure but I'm pretty confident that i saw the video first and many times before I ever saw the Motown 25 performance

And the video is cool and all [[not sure what it had to do with the lyrics of the song but I always liked the lighting up effect)

But once I saw the full performance I definitely think of it first and foremost and belongs on the Mount Rushmore of "A superstar is born" moments
