Hi!
Besides Motown he was a staff writer for Malaco, too, and wrote many songs for Johnnie Taylor. He's also a highly valued recording artist among deep soul fans -

Hi!
I just made a few corrections in the text on Frank's debut single called "Weaker than Water."

Hi Heikki,
Very good to see your coverage of Frank O!
I suspect a lot of people simply don't associate the name with recordings on Motown by Thelma Houston, G.C.Cameron Bottom & Co, Temptations etc. I think Frank really got into his groove with his Johnnie Taylor compositions. If you listen to Frank O he can sound more like Johnnie than Johnnie. Great songwriter / soul artist / soul authority and thanks for the item. Good stuff on Bobby Womack and The Manhattans. [ I have just about everything he recorded.)

Thank you, Mike!
Frank has been my big favourite ever since the late 80s - as a singer, as a writer for a longer period.
The second part of the feature [[1990-2022) will be published in less than two weeks.
Best regards

Hi!
Please read the second part of the Frank-O feature covering the last three decades on such labels as Ace, Phat Sound and CDS. There are also comments from the CDS head, Mr. Dylann DeAnna -
