Belated birthday wishes for Ann Peebles

She turned 75 on Wednesday the 27th. Same day Sheena Easton turned 63 and if he were still with us, Casey Kasem would have been 90 that day.

Maybe some day some vault material will come out from Ann. Enjoyed her stuff back in the Hi Records days. Hopefully she had a wonderful birthday.

Happy Birthday, Ann Peebles. Loved & bought all her HI 45's and 2 of the Hi Lps. "I'm Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down" was really cool.

I had never heard of her until "I Can't Stand the Rain" but I still remember hearing that song the first time because it was raining in Detroit late at night and then that song came on the radio.
