There is a glorious LP-sized 268-page book all about Ready Steady Go, written by Andy Neill which was published in 2020. Pages 122-133 has a section titled The Sound of Motown, plus there is an episode guide listing artists' appearances. [[Link refers to Amazon UK, slightly cheaper copies available on eBay.)
