This is a great live performance of a classic song that I have never grown tired of. Plus all three girls are in a row as they always should have been. Flo & Mary were never recruited as back up singers or background dancers.

I concur with his glowing review of the rather lovely “Thank You” set. It’s such a special, intimate album that’s packed full of little gems. I can’t help but wonder how well it might have faired had it replaced the rather lacklustre “I Love You” in 2006. Given the tv promotion afforded that album, there are quite a few songs on “TY” that could have done extremely well given the same kind of exposure.

“I Love You” most certainly. I wouldn’t say “TY” is one of the most awesome albums of her career, but it does contains some warm and intimate vocal performances from a woman who was 76 at the time of its recording. In an earlier timeframe, songs such as “If The World Just Danced”, “In Your Heart”, and “I Still Believe” would probably have been hit records.
Being such a personal message album, i kind of view it differently from other Diana recordings whenever i play it.
