Rosa hawkins of the dixie cups rip

It has been announced in New Orleans that Rosa Hawkins of The Dixie Cups passed away in a Tampa hospital from surgery complications. She was 76.

This leaves only Barbara Hawkins as an original member. They were sisters. They are local heroes down here and she will be missed.

We are losing far too many musical treasures
