DONNY HATHAWAY "MAUDE" TV Theme

It took me fifty years to find this out, but tonight, I was watching an episode of MAUDE, and while reading the credits, I finally realized that Donny Hathaway was singing the theme song. Probably common knowledge to everyone else, so I feel a little foolish to find this out fifty years later. And I thought I knew everything

I love Maude - was never sure who the background vocal girls were. There was a fabled longer version in the Embassy TV vaults. I asked Norman about it one time he said "as far as I can remember we did record one, but I'm 95 and I can't remember a lot of things"....I finally found the house and the street which is [[not in New York) but actually California. https://www.iamnotastalker.com/2020/...e-maude-house/
