"Lady Sings The Blues" Possible new recollated soundtrack?

I wonder if there will be a recollated soundtrack for this movie. Perhaps, delete the audio dramatic scenes and add songs which were recorded at the time yet did not make it to the soundtrack. Is this album one of Diana Ross' longest chart positioned albums?I don't know for which category, but Diana Ross should have won a Grammy for this album. Her vocals at this point of her career, along with the "Touch Me in The Morning" period were and remain phenomenal! Did Michael Masser and Diana Ross meet before or after the movie production?
