The holiday commercials that I can't stand are the There's-A-Luxury-Car-Outside-With-A-Bow-On-It variety. I mean, how rich do you have to be to purchase a car without needing your spouse's input on the finances? I especially think the one where the husband buys his wife a puppy and she "loves" it before whistles and somebody flies out of the woods in a $70,000 pickup truck is a hoot.

The Liberty Mutual ad, with all the dogs, drives us crazy.
Also, why doesn't the Jardiance dancer ever lose any weight? Not a good
representative for the product.

on YouTube.

Interestingly, one of the Five Satins, and I´m not sure at which point in time, Sonny Sanders was a member of the group. In later years he would make his mark as an arranger and producer. He would, in 1964, produce ¨The Swinging Kind¨ backed with the future Northern Soul classic ¨All Alone¨ by The Sunliners, my old group.

In later years working as a piano tuner, I would twice tune for Liberace at Michigan amphitheater Meadow Brook in Rochester Hills, Michigan. I didn´t get to meet the guy, but I damned near threw my back out removing the candelabra from the piano.
