New article on Mary in the New York Times Magazine by Hanif Abdurraqib, who it should be said, is probably one of the most celebrated young writers in America at the moment.

Part of their year-end The Lives They Led series, he writes probably one of the best descriptions of her voice that I've read so far. Not to mention that it's nice to read praise for her work on The Supremes '75 LP and for "Pick Up The Pieces" on her 79 self-titled album in the pages of the New York Times, no less.
