    RIP Kent Washburn

Vernessa Mitchell of High Inergy just announced on Facebook the passing of producer Kent Washburn. He did their mega-hit You Can't Turn Me Off. I spoke to him many times over the years and he was such a nice, kind man. It's a shame this was his only Motown success, the guy was multi-talented.

    RIP Kent

Kent produced some excellent tracks. A favourite of mine is Charles Drain on Willie Hutch's track "I'm Gonna Stay"..

I've always loved Major Lance's "I Never Thought I'd Be Losing You" from his 1978 "Now Arriving" LP on Motown's Soul label.
