I was shocked to see this story on Yahoo a short time ago. Smokey almost died from Covid last December. I couldn't imagine losing our legend in such a terrible way. I'm glad he pulled through!

Thanks for sharing the news about Smokey's fight with COVID-19. Had no idea that he had gotten the virus and I'm so glad that he was able to make a full recovery from it.

I can’t stand the selfish deniers and anti-vaxers. My father in law died from COVID last year, and I’ve talked to plenty people who’ve had it, fit, strong people, and it’s wiped them out like our beloved Smokey
