    Favorite Song Introductions

If this topic has already been discussed, I apologize. What are some of your favorite song introductions?

    A few of mine are:
Still Water [[Love) - there's something about the way Levi says "walk with me"

Papa Was a Rolling Stone - such a masterpiece

Reflections- gotta love that beep, beep, beep and the explosion going from one speaker to the other

"I Want You Back" for the win. That piano glissando leading into the funk gives me chills every time.

Honorable mention: "I'm Coming Out," with Tony Thompson's wickedly unpredictable drumming, Nile's tight guitar licks, those spicy horns, and Queen Diana putting in much work.

    No doubt :

Hal Davis was very smart to strengthen the PIR original intro instead of trying to reinvent it from scratch.
