70 Supremes Website

Does anyone recall the 70's Supremes website that was online in the late 90's? This was when the internet really exploded and was the first taste I had of the group after Diana left.

I'm not sure what happened to it, or who ran it, but it's fondly remembered.

I think it was an actual website, like www.70sSupremes.com

I know that it was nothing that Mary ran; definitely something created by a fan.

No, it was a full website with the URL: http://supremes.com. [[edit: that URL now takes you to Universal). I recall it since I used to sit there and wait forever for it to download photos. Those were the dial-up days when the photos loaded line-by-line.

If you want to see an archive of it go here: Wayback Machine. If you click on any of the dates with the blue halo, it is an image of the website from that day. Some photos still load! I must have spent half a year waiting to download them and now they're there in a snap.
