    R&B in D. C. comprehensive 16-disc box set

I am putting this into the Motown Forum since Marvin Gaye is part of this release.

In today's Washington Post was a full 2 page story Getting Back Into One Long-Gone Groove announcing it. Historian Jay Bruder collects some core city music in a comprehensive 16-disc box set. Also included is a 352-page coffee table book.

Here are the details in case anyone is interested.

If anyone purchases one of the 1,500 copies perhaps they could do a review for us.

I grew up in the DC metro area

Set look very comprehensive but not my favorite music

If they ever do a 1960-1980 set I'd be all in
