    Supremes OVERTURE

Could someone please tell me what songs make up the [[70's) Supremes overture? I can make out "Up the Ladder to the Roof" and "Baby Love", but not much else.

I also know that once the show is ready to start, the band strikes up "I Hear a Symphony".....

i think that's it. the actually opening part sounds like just general music. they probably just pulled together a sort of generic tune that then shifts to a snippet of Ladder and the others.

I thought I heard a little SATISFACTION in there but I agree that aside from the hits, it is probably generic music.

The overture on Diana's Caesars Palace album is similar. The only hit featured is REACH OUT AND TOUCH, with some of the rest sounding like the opening of Thelma Houston's SUNSHOWER album.

Gil Askey composed both overtures in 1970
