Muscle Shoals Session Pianist Clayton Ivey Interview

A very nice interview with Clayton Ivey, who became one of Rick Hall's session players after the Swampers [David Hood, Roger Hawkins, and Jimmy Johnson], left to go their own way in 1969.

I didn't realise he had worked for Motown [L.A] in the 1970s. He pays homage to both the writers and the Funk Brothers, along with Motown's production methods.

    Cheers

    Paul
