    Motown, The Brits, The 80s

As a bit of a companion to the British Invasion thread - the 80s had some good moments too ..

The Hollies - with Graham Nash back for the "What Comes Around" sessions - "Stop! In The Name Of Love"....

The Undertones "Got To Have You Back. Feargal Sharkey, the lead singer, had a huge hit with "A Good Heart". I met him through work but I didn't know he'd done this one. We'd have had more to talk about in common I think

Powerpop group, The Yachts, had unsuccessfully revived "There's A Ghost In My House" in 1980.

In 1989, Sam Brown reached #15 in the UK with her revival of "Can I Get A Witness".

I'm a Brit and I sincerely apologise for the above crap! There are much better cover versions but possibly not '80's!
