This looks like a great combination of albums. I am quite excited by all these re-issues we are getting. For those of us who appreciated the good old days and just cannot relate much to current music trends, some of these are real treasures.

Did I read somewhere that this new 4 on 2 set was delayed?

Funkytown Grooves have released quite a few Mathis album from the 1970's as two-fers. Great quality in reissue. I gravitate a lot to these 1970's Mathis releases because I just love his voice from that period.

I've seen where many of his albums got the deluxe treatment. Johnny Mathis is to be celebrated always. His version of Begin The Beguine is outstanding. No one like him, the man can sing anything.
