What a great find! Love Bettye. HMAWOOM is kinda-sorta another version of 'Son of a Preacher Man'. And, can we bow down to Bettye's hair? Flawless! 10's across the board!

You beat me to posting this video, Reese, but I'm glad you did. It's a great rare one of Bettye!

    Another rare moment for Bettye!
Bettye's first 45 for Motown was the last issue in the "1000 Motown Series" on Motown 1532, after that all labels were consolidated commencing at "1600" same time from Jan 1982. Think it was a great honour for her to have the last Motown 45 1000 series!

Bettye's rare 45 "If I Were Your Woman" on Motown 1532 which was unissued and replaced with "You Seen One You Seen 'Em All", personally I think they should have kept "If I Were Your Woman" as its a stunning version.
Gladys Knight originally recorded "If I Were Your Woman" in Oct 1970 but I still prefer Bettye's version. Bettye issued it on 45 but a hard one to find, it was issued on her Motown album "Tell Me A Lie" also same year in 1982.
