That's by design. Evolution of the group means their early recordings, when they were developing their style. "That's When The Tears Start" and "Good, Good, Lovin'" and their other Loma cuts, as well as their Ode Records cuts were near the end of their career as a group.

More like "That's When the Tears Start" and "Good, Good Lovin'" require licensing... I wish Ace Records would do a licensed comp but I guess they don't see it as a viable release so they reissue Blossoms tracks on Various Artist compilations instead.

On the Jasmine release, is it the same line up pictured on the back as on the front? I can identify Darlene easily on the front, but can’t pick her out of the girls on the back cover.

Darlene is only on the front cover of the Jasmine release.

I think Fanita & Gloria are the only 2 in both photos above. Fanita is the only member that went from Start to Finish of the group.I remember how excited I was when the Blossoms were on Shindig.I was a big Phil Spector fan, so I knew of Darlene & Fanita.

I've never really thought it before, but Darlene really reminds me of Cindy Birdsong in the cover photo, especially around the eyes.
