Could This Song By The Fuzz Have Worked For The Supremes:

.... under the leadership of Jean Terrell as was the case when this was released in 1971?

This cut from the short-lived Washington DC female vocal group's album was never released as a single , but I hear potential ....

Could the Supremes under the guidance of Motown have come up with some magic working with this one??

Only love can move those mountains....

Boogie, I hear that 70s Supremes/Motown influence, but I also hear some Philly in it, too. But I get why this could have worked for the JMC. I would've preferred great Motown originals to covers, but I think the Supremes would've been able to make this one work as an album cut.

ya now that you mention Philly ....there's that to it...

The song's a bit disjointed, like the intro , but thats where I think the Motown team could smooth it out .... that overall Philly/Motown uplifting energy is well suited for Jean and the seventies Supremes, that's what I'm hearing ...
