    When he was wrapping up the segment, did he call her Mary Wells???!!!

    This was a great clip. I echo Ollie's comment about Mary's beauty. She always comes across so well on camera. Had this woman lucked up on a winning formula for her solo career, coupled with her looks, she would've been too much. A real star, she was.

    I do think the host called her "Mary Wells." Mary was probably used to it by that point. When she appeared on Geraldo, an audience member stood up and wished her well because she had heard she was ill. This was when the news had broken about Mary Wells' bout with cancer. Ouch!

    But yes, Mary does look beautiful here, as she usually did. To think there is so much footage out there that we will probably never view seems such a waste.

    Thank you for sharing this wonderful footage of Mary! I believe I've also seen stills of an appearance by Mary, Scherrie & Susaye on "The Scene."
