    Suzanne deP

I have seen the movie "The Burning Bed" probably a dozen times, and had NO IDEA that actor Paul Le Mat was once married to Suzanne de Passe. I wonder how they came to meet?

Considering Suzanne was working to make Motown Productions a major player in Hollywood, they might have met while discussing a future project.

I do remember when MOTOWN RETURNS TO THE APOLLO won an Emmy, in her acceptance speech, Suzanne mentioned Paul, saying something like "I wish this was yours" because he hadn't been recognized for THE BURNING BED.

I also remember JET magazine covering their wedding, including a photo of Diana and her daughters, who were flower girls.

IIRC, she's credited as "Suzanne dePasse Le Mat" in the credits of The Boss.

That’s right. I just remembered before I read this. Thanks!
