Will You be Staying After Sunday....Peppermint Rainbow

Peppermint Rainbow singer Bonnie Lamdin Phipps remembers ‘Will You Be Staying After Sunday’ - Baltimore Post-ExaminerBaltimore Post-Examiner

I always liked this song when I was a kid. I often wonder what happened
to people in groups from back in the day....so, this was a fun article.

CKLW in Windsor played that song a lot. While on Youtube, a group called I think "The Party Girls" had uploaded a live version of the song, with an orchestral ending that I had never heard. I searched and finally found that longer version on Youtube. They should've put that longer ending on the 45!

That would be the retro girl group...It's My Party".

The group has been around since the 80's with different members. I have
all their CD's. You can go to youtube and listen to a live performance of
"Will You Be Staying After Sunday"...and a lot of other girl group songs from
back in the day. A fun group. I think they do a lot of live shows...or did.
