I think it may have been the May 1965 appearance on Hullabaloo.

I can't remember the first time I saw Diana and the Supremes as I was a small child. But I definitely remember seeing their last appearance on Ed Sullivan when I was barely three.

I had heard where did our love go on the radio, but it didn’t hit me. The first time I heard radio baby love on the radio, was October 1964, and I just stood there, frozen, as if I’ve been hit by a magic wand. I can’t tell you how much I loved it. I bought the 45 the next day, and I was obsessed ever since. I don’t remember when I first saw them on television, but I first saw them live in January 19 66 and all three of them were magical.

My first time was seeing The Supremes sign Where Did Our Love Go and Baby Love on Ready, Steady, Go with Keith Fordyce who was getting covered in kisses by the group!

On the back of that my parents bought me Baby Love on the Stateside label. I still have that single

For me it would have been late 65/early 66. I had gotten a transistor radio for Christmas and the first song I remember hearing by them was My World is Empty Without You. I soon became hooked on Motown in general and the I Hear a Symphony album was the very first one I bought.

I heard Stop! In The Name of Love on our family car radio in 1965 when I was 11. When it started playing, my 10 year old sister said "I really like this song!". So I listened and fell in love with that voice for the first time. A few months later, I was happily surprised to find out that the Supremes were responsible for Where Did Our Love Go, Baby Love and Come See About Me.

I first saw the Supremes a few weeks later, singing Stop! on the Hollywood Palace. After dinner, my family was watching television and, when Tony Randall introduced the Supremes, my uncle exclaimed that "this group has had hit after hit!"

July 1977. Summer Concert of Diana Ross at Forest Hills Stadium, Queens, NY. Great show, as reviewed in NY Times, July 25,1977.

I would have heard Supremes & Diana Ross songs on the radio from a young age. Growing up in England before we moved to Australia in early 1973, I was probably exposed to 'New Supremes' songs as well as Diana's 70s singles although I have no strong memories.

We used to listen to 'Family Favourites' on Radio 1 and I watched Top of the Pops most weeks, so their songs were bound to have been played at times.

I became much more interested in music in Australia but as the radio stations I listened to played mainly top 40 hits, the lack of hit records meant I didn't hear them much.

I can remember the first Diana Ross record I owned though as a Xmas gift of a K-Tel compilation album 'Explosive Hits' had 'Last Time I Saw Him' on it.

My main memory of Diana in my pre-teen years was seeing her sing 'Mahogany' on the 1976 Acadamy Awards Show. Though I can't find anything on the internet to confirm this, my memory is that it was performed 'live from Amsterdam' and that Diana was walking around canals [[?) in the dark, wearing some white fur coat. Would be interested if anyone can confirm that it's not just my imagination lol

It would take another four years until 'diana' that I became a major fan of Diana, then The Supremes and then Motown in general.

I think it was their Stop in the name performance on Ready Steady Go but on Youtube. I'm far too young to have seen any first time performances by the Supremes. At the time I assumed that Diana was much older than Mary and Florence because of their looks during that performance. I had no idea and just started to get into liking Motown and the Supremes.

I think I was destined to be a Diana Ross fan. I guess my first experience hearing Diana would have been Stop! In The Name Of Love. My parents have a cassette of me singing a portion of the song in 1969; I was three years old.

My earliest memory of seeing Diana was Lady Sings The Blues. Too young to be interested, but with my family at the drive in, I remember laughing at the prison straight jacket scene before falling asleep. I was six years old.

Mahogany was the beginning of my becoming a fan. I loved the theme, but didn’t know the artist. I saw the movie with my family and then began to connect the dots of Diana’s career...

I was a kid and on vacation in Florida with my parents. We had gone into a store and I saw this 45 and flipped over the picture. I had no idea what they sounded like, but the picture sold me. I remember staring at that 45 all the way home and couldn't wait to play it. The first thing I did was put it on the record player....and it's been 'love' ever since! By the way, I still have that 45 sleeve. It's held up better than I have. Fond memories!

I was home sick with pneumonia when Mary was on TWIN CITIES LIVE promoting "Dreamgirl". Shortly there after I found the 1967 Greatest Hits LP at our church rummage sale.....with only 1 LP! I can't remember which sides they were, but clearly they were all hits.

My love grew when my 8th grade teacher, Mr. Patrick, would talk about Motown. He was more of a Temptations/Marvin fan, but Motown is Motown.

From there, it flourished when I went through my parents albums and found "Where Did Our Love Go?", "I Hear a Symphony" and "Love Child". Interestingly, my copy of LC has Side 1 labels on both sides. I also stole my Aunt Angie's copy of "Sam Cooke" from my Grandma's house, lol.

Lastly, I love thrifting, and recall finding my first 70's lineup with "New Ways". This was YEARS before the internet, and not much info was out there about the post-Diana Supremes. I knew Diana, I knew Mary, I knew Flo, and I knew Cindy. But this LP? I could NOT figure out which girl was Diana Ross, lol.

Saturday, July 23, 1977 at The Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, NYC. Great concert during the height of the disco years. Has anyone seen any concert footage? On Mon. July 25, 1977, The New York Times newspaper had a glowing review of the concert by Diana Ross.Compared Ms. Ross to the "It Girl" of the 1920's.

My first memory of hearing them was in 1964 and coming home after church on Sunday and my older sister having the album "Where Did Out Love Go?". I was in first grade. Remember seeing then on "The Ed Sullivan Show" as my sister always made sure to have the TV on when The Supremes were on. First time seeing them live was in 1969 when it was Diana, Mary and Cindy, at The Forum in Inglewood, CA.

I first heard The Supremes in spring 1961, when I played "I Want A Guy" and "Never Again" on their Tamla single. I bought it because I liked so many Tamla records that I tried them all. I didn't find The Primettes' Lupine record until 1964, probably because it wasn't distributed much, at all in 1960. But Robert West pressed up a bunch [[maybe 500?) and re-issued it in mid 1964, to piggyback onto their huge fame and hit sales of "Where Did Our Love Go". The first time I ever saw them was at The Regal Theater in Chicago in spring 1963.

The first time I ever heard of The Supremes was in September 1964. I was at my grandparent's home, listening to their beautiful table-top Philco radio with push-buttons in the beautiful wooden canbinet when our local AM radio station played "Where Did Our Love Go" -- not for the first time, I'm sure, but the first time that I had ever heard it. I remember how new and fresh it sounded. I ran out and bought it the very next day!

The first time I ever saw The Supremes was in December 1964 on the Ed Sullivan show when they performed [[lip-synced) "Come See About Me". Totally impressed [[I remember like it were yesterday) how Diana commanded my attention. It was love at first sight for me, The Supremes, and Motown.

the WDOLG album as a kid. I'd just stare at the cover art

First heard 'Lovelight' in late 1963. Never knew about 'Run' till years later, always thought that 'WDOLG' came next! Knew their names from then onwards. Didn't know anything about Motown until 'SITNOL' came out on Tamla Motown in 1965. Of course I had heard many Motown songs without knowing as I live in the UK. Played catch up for years.

As a pre-teen, my friend and my sister's boyfriend played music by "his girls"-it was the Supremes. The first record I ever bought was Up The Ladder To The Roof and I bought Right On and New Ways But Love Stays. I was also introduced to Diana Ross as a separate entity. I bought Reach Out and Touch and Diana Ross. I liked her, too, but really liked the Supremes. That Christmas , my parents bought me a wide variety of the older Diana Ross & The Supremes albums like Greatest Hits, TCB, etc. Before that, I never really paid attention to Diana Ross & The Supremes on television. I did look out to watch The Supremes and Diana Ross in 1970 and beyond. So for me, they were two different entities since I never followed them prior to that. I never really knew Florence because she was not in the group when I followed them, only has You Tube afforded me to see her. I still follow each member of the group and Diana Ross. The first verse of Up The Ladder To The Roof was "Come with me" and I have been following them on this journey ever since.
