Herman Griffin on HOB Maurice King credit

The copies of the first Jobete publication with the Maurice King credit seem to be fairly rare. Supposedly that copy is the first pressing, and then it was reissued[[?) with the "Directed By" credit given to Berry Gordy. Is there any story behind the two pressings?

I'm sure that it was Maurice King's orchestra that provided the music, and Berry should have gotten the credit as producer, but not orchestra director. Remember also that The "Barry Gordy Orchestra" got credit on Bob Kayli's "Everyone Was There" Carlton Records release. I'd bet that Berry used either Joe Hunter's Band, or Maurice King's orchestra for that session.
