Function At The Junction - Ramsey Lewis Trio - 1967

Here's a great piece of Jazz/Soul/Motown. It's a great cover of Shorty Long's Function at The Junction. Is it just my ears, but does anyone else hear refrains of He Was Really Sayin' Something by the Velvelettes? This track sounds like it could have been recorded right in the Snakepit. I can actually hear Cal Gil's singing to this track.
