I loved them both as a child. However, I gotta go with Batman. Two words: Julie Newmar

    Batman!
Batman was much hipper. Well actually Batman was kinda a square
but the show was hip. It was as colorful as a P-Funk show.
Batman went up against another fave of mine, Lost In Space. Now
if I had to choose between the 2, it'll be LIS

Love 'em both, but if I had to choose, it would be Batman...I always enjoyed the campiness.

    Best,

Hands down, it's The Batman. The original must see TV when I was in single digits. I actually met Julie Newmar in LAX years later. We were both booked on the same flight. Meooooooow.

Like age has anything to do with it. Batman, back when it was on ABC was the most popular show amongst the college crowd.

    Batman was a big deal when I was in 1st ,2nd & 3rd grade. I just hated
that it went up against another favorite of mine, Lost In Space

A slightly abbreviated opening, but nice nonetheless.

So how do you feel about the darkness in the Christian Bale films as compared to the TV series?

The Dark Knight is an absolute masterpiece. They finally got it right and they finally made a superhero flick for adults. It maybe the greatest superhero flick ever.

Good point about Supes. However, I take issue with his alter ego, Clark Kent. Come one! It's Supes, with glasses on! That was my thinking back then. The Margot Kidder Superman addressed that issue perfectly. Everytime Lois started to make the obvious connection, he high tailed it!
