The Originals - Please Mr Postman

Sometimes shown just as Mr Postman.

Have to say I do like this version it's very pleasant - not everyone will agree of course lol.

    Hi!

It was produced by Hamilton Bohannon, but Freddie Gorman wasn't on it.
Freddie: "Bohannon and I, we couldn't see eye to eye, so I didn't actually go to Phase II [[album). The other members went. I had started solo again."

    Best regards
    Heikki

I see that Barrett Strong also released a record on Phase II, Bohannon's independent label.

A bit plinky-plonky, but I always enjoyed Hank Dixon's leads, a truly unsung voice

Surprisingly good for such a late Disco-style cut.
