Little Ann on new Ace Records release due out soon

Although possibly not Motown, I thought I would mention this release as it follows on from her Ric-Tic single in 1968. Not someone I am familiar with as I only have "Going Down A One-Way Street [[The Wrong Way)" on a Ric-Tic compilation CD. The write-up says that Dave Hamilton was involved with some of these tracks from 1967-1968 which had previously been released on Ace, and DFTMC suggests that Hamliton could have been involved with the production of her Ric-Tic single. Although this CD includes songs from the 1970s, it also overlaps with her time at Ric-Tic.

Little Ann had a number of recordings with Dave Hamilton [[ex Motown).
Her best known was a huge unknown acetate Northern Soul favourite, for years 'covered up' as Rose Batiste "when he's not around".
Eventually it was found almost by accident and revealed as Little Ann's " What should I do"..
    Enjoy...

I would suggest referring to Little Ann as Motown-associated for lack of a better description. The masters for her 2 songs that were initially released on Ric Tic
are now in custody of the Motown vaults as all these RT/GW, etc. are now in
possession of the Motown vaults. In my opinion she has a legacy association with
    Motown.
