    Do we know who play the guitar solo for this one and Swept Away.

    the Swept Away booklet says that Nile Rodgers is the guitar

    The musician credits on the original album were dinky and seemed incomplete. I think the same might apply to the recent cd booklet.

    I assumed that Nile was the guitarist on TELEPHONE as it was a Bernard Edwards production. However, I don't know that for sure. I also see G.E. Smith listed amongst the musicians. He worked with Hall and Oates for years so I assumed it was him on SWEPT AWAY but again, I don't know for sure.

    That's a nice bit of info that should have been in the album credits.

    But for some reason, this album didn't list the musicians for each track. They just listed nine musicians. Considering the album was produced by five different production teams, I doubt the same nine guys played on every track.
