Which Supremes HITS Featured Four Certified Supremes Singing ?

If I've got it right :

Over their history, Supremes singles can have an assortment of people vocalizing on them , sometimes a whole lot of extra voices can be heard --- and sometimes there might be as few as zero Supremes performing [[if you decide that from '67 onward Diana Ross was not herself a Supreme).
The earliest recordings featuring four Supremes did not result in any hits. Thereafter, for years, the only certified Supremes voices heard were limited to a maximum of three. But as replacement members checked in and out and in again , the total number of certified Supremes accrued. And there was at times some overlap.

In this process , an example of a Supremes HIT [[top 40) that has four certified Supremes singing on it is : I'M GONNA LET MY HEART DO THE WALKING
The record has the voices of the 3 current Supremes: Mary Wilson, Sherrie Payne and Susaye Greene---- plus the residual vocals from Cindy Birdsong....

from wiki :All of the tracks had been completed with Birdsong, but Greene was brought in to overdub her vocals on two tracks. Among those two were "I'm Gonna Let My Heart Do the Walking".

So when you add them up , that's four Supremes singing on there.....

I'm guessing this is not the only such occurrence ??
And I'm sure someone here will be able to fill in the blanks.

Also I think it’s the blackberries doing the additional background on Touch

My hat's off to you Sup! You have it down!! [[When will YOU get a book out!?)

So , to conclude, I'M GONNA LET MY HEART DO THE WALKING is the one Supremes hit with the most Supremes singing on it. [[four) .

I guess my follow-up question now would be:
Which Supremes hit single has the MOST voices on it, period .....hmmm let me look at your breakdown and see if I can figure it out....

i sort of use "Andantes" in a generic sense. Unless some source has very specifically identified the vocalists [[like Syreeta on Beginning of the End or the Waters on Someday), i just sort of use the As to mean additional session vocalists. I have no idea about when it was the andantes vs the blackberries or whomever else

I'd guess their recording of He. they have a whole fucking choir there lololol

Touch I think has the most [[or among the most) layered vocals. during the ending you have:

    Jean lead lines
    Mary lead lines
    Cindy's solo lines of Touch
then there's the whispered Touch on the down beats of the measures
    the choral Touch
    the ooos

Give out also had a ton of layered vocals:
    scherrie lead
group lines in 3 part harmony of the lyrics of the chorus
    ba dah's backing vocals
    oooo's backing vocals

i still think Touch would have the most voices at the ending, although not necessarily the most individual or unique voices, due to the layering

    1. Jean lead lines
    2. mary lead lines
    3. cindy lead lines
4 voices doing the choral Touch
at least 2 or three doing the oooos
and again 2 or 3 doing the whispered Touch

that could be up to 13

according to the WDOLG EE booklet, it's Brian and Lamont doing the grunts. not the tops. but i do believe the Andantes were added in. So that makes the 3 sups, the 3 andantes and the 2 guys. 8
