    Stardust -- Hoagy Carmichael (1927), also by many other artists. My favorite -- and everyone else´s -- is by Nat King Cole (1956).

    (In 2004, Carmichael's 1927 recording of the song was one of 50 recordings chosen by the Library of Congress to be added to the National Recording Registry.)
