    Thelma Houston Acetate on Ebay

    Noticed this acetate of 20/08/1971 Ref P4284-MW516-Side 1A, JO = 201588.

The album number MW516 doesn't seem to fit any Mowest numbering sequence. "Blackberries" found its way onto Thelma's first Mowest album in the USA whilst none of the other tracks did. Both that and "Stealing In The Name Of The Lord" featured on the UK version of her first Mowest album as we know.

What is intriguing is that there are two tracks shown that I don't recognise:
"Love's Coming Back" at 2.55 produced by Larson and Marcellano and
"Something About You Baby" at 3.00 produced by Hal Davis.

These seem to be unreleased recordings (makes me wonder what would have been on side 2 lol). Wouldn't it be interesting if "Something About You Baby" was the Four Tops song?

Anyhow - does anyone have further info about the two "unreleased" songs?

Never did get a response on this - but I'm still intrigued by the unreleased tracks.
