    Another vote for this being my favorite MJ solo.

    Sounds like MJ was still getting into the feel of the song.

    Loved it... dang, a bit surprised to think I'd be hearing anything else from MJ that I'd like

    I prefer the hit vocal, but I love the ending to this. Would be nice if an extended version of the hit were released with this ending mixed in.

    It's certainly up there with MJ's best at Motown but in truth it is a great song and I also love the Motown versions by Jose Feliciano and also Thelma Houston.

    Wow. I know I'm a year late but it's amazing to hear this! Instrumentation sounds slightly differently mixed too but MJ's vocals are still supreme, even if this was an early take.
