    I remember "My Boy Lollipop" from 1964 and I'm sorry to hear that Millie Small has passed on. Thanks for the news Marv2 & Rest In Peace Millie.

    You're most welcome Motown Eddie. I too remember the song on the radio a lot back then. I didn't know what Ska music was,but as I grew up I learned and I loved it and Millie Smalls deserves the credit for that. May she rest in peace.

    This is sad. My Boy Lollipop is the most infectiously joyful song in pop music history. Her voice is so perfect and alive, I smile when I listen to it. Sorry to hear about her passing.

    That's right, Marv.
    She was very popular here in Finland and that show was shot in 1964. On YouTube you'll find her singing also What Am I Living For, Sweet William etc.
    She was a pretty and lively lady.
