Wow. I can tell not only is the vocal different; but the way it is presented appears to have pulled back on the reverb [[spacing) effect on the lead vocal making it more upfront rather than lying in the mix. Thanks for posting this.
both are very good but i think to break the tie i'd go with the released version. I don't know if she's just a touch under pitch on the entry notes in the unreleased version or perhaps it didn't have the benefit of a little more production/mixing work. it's just a bit too forward and a touch off.
but i'm really digging to find that. it's still beautiful
